RECREATION
The Student Activities Department provides for recreation for students at
FIS. This department has a full time Director with seven employees.
The students are provided with a well-rounded program that includes the following:
a) Movies in the Auditorium
b) Dances at the Canteen
c) Intra-mural sports (boys/girls) & Co-ed
d) Special Holiday parties
e) Contests of various types
f) Recreational games (cards, pool) in the basement of both dormitories and the Canteen
g) Out of town events such as roller-skating.
h) On campus activities such as roller blades, bicycling, baseball, tennis, golf.
Students are encouraged to be involved in as many as possible of these activities after school hours, evenings and on weekends and Holidays in order to thwart that nemesis called BOREDOM.
