4th Annual
Future Native Entrepreneurs Business Plan
Competition
Native American two-member high
school teams and individual college students living and attending school in the
Great Plains Region are invited to compete. High school teams must consist
of Juniors and or Seniors. To date, the Flandreau Indian School is sending
4 teams to the competition in Sioux Falls, SD. The winners will receive
valuable advice from Native Business Leaders and compete to win a free home
computer system.
Four additional students representing Red Eye Graphics, a
student-run graphics business, will be honored as well. These students
designed business cards for regional schools, businesses, as well as design
Graduation Announcements for many graduating Seniors. The students are
always willing to print anything for students, professionals, and businesses at
any time. The idea of the business is that it is student-run,
student-designed, and yet the profits always go back to the students.
The competition will be held April 15-16, 2008 at the Ramkota
Hotel and Convention Center. This competition is presented by the
Great Plains Regional/Tribal Economic Development Summit.
Last years winners from Flandreau were Duran Clark and
Clark Dale. Click on the following links to view our 4 Teams' web
